Think I'll barbeque some chicken tonight.... not bother the neighbors.... no too loud music... just bbq some chicken. I got 2 cat piss beers left..... My God, that Amberbock at Applebee's was soooooo good last night.... wonder how many carbs in that? (rhetoric, don't go look it up)...... Oh, ok, wait a minute.... 15 carbs.... and I had 3 of em, jeez. Damn, it was good, though. My whole dinner, last night (BB ribs 17 bucks), was the same price I paid last week for one stupid tough steak to bring home and grill.... course the booze brought it up but still.... I think, from now on, Monday nights will be "out" night instead of grill and noise. Damn neighbors won't wake up anyway. Several years ago, I used to go to a place called the Sports Bar on Monday nights for what they called a "Combo Plate." It was chicken fillets (breaded), mushrooms and cheese sticks (actually, all breaded) and a couple of Amberbocks. Just a little treat-night by myself. It's a very big place full of young people having a good time... fun to watch them. Like I said, I haven't been there for 2 years. Tonight, I went. I walked in, sat down at the bar and the bartender, a very pretty blond tall thing, walked up to me and said, "Hi, a combo, right?" Stunned, after so long a time, I said yes. She walked off and, after a few minutes, came back with an Amberbock which she put on the bar in front of me. Would anyone care to guess how much of a tip the young lady received from me tonight?
