08/14/2007: The percentage of U.S. men with undiagnosed diabetes fell from nearly 50% to 20% since the late 1970s, a Rand study shows. The study indicates an education gap replaced the race gap in undiagnosed diabetes.

So how, exactly, do they proport to quantify the number of
**undiagnosed** diabetics?

Good question
Also, they ignore the change in definition.

If it was 70% by the old standards, it was probably 97% by current standards
