Biafra comes to mind. concentration camp victims come to mine. We all
have some image of what starvation is all about.
No one should be deprived of food and no one has the right to tell
someone not to eat. That is there own decision and they will pay the
consequences of their actions.
It shouldnt go to one extreme or the other, Moderation is the key to a
happy life.

Starving folks are not hungry.

Telling someone not to eat is not going to keep them from eating.

Folks who are overeating (eating until stomach is stretched thereby
killing the hunger) actually are not aware that they are overeating
but believe they are "satisfied" in the overfed state.

For eating, moderation is not possible for folks who know neither the
optimal amount of food nor how to quantify the food they are eating.

Our dear friend from atlanta was of the opinion:
"For eating, moderation is not possible for folks who know neither the
optimal amount of food nor how to quantify the food they are eating."
Gosh, how have perfectly healthy people until now for hundreds of
thousands of years known what to eat and in what amount without scales?
This kind of opinion is born of working to force square agendas into the
round holes of biological reality.
The two pound diet, aka 2 pd etc., is trash science.
God bless.

For thousands of years our bodies had adapted to what was available to eat.
In the last 50 to 100 years that has all been screwed up. Its hard to eat
right when what you are eatig isnt what you think it is. So yes now we
probably do need scales along with food analysis.

Truly, all that is needed is a food scale and knowledge from GOD :-)
The latter is "... is every word that comes from the mouth of
GOD." (Deuteronomy 8:3)
