Just got some bloodwork back, and it showed ketones were present at
0.5 umol/l. However, there was no reference range posted. Is this
high,
low, or middling? At what level does one become concerned?

Thanks,

That's absolutely normal if it's really µmol/l
(ß-hydroxybutyrate level below 0.6 mmol/l).
