Although these numbers are good, they are not as good as the last blood
tests I took.  Stress being the major factor in my overeating and
therefore having higher numbers.

fbg 104
cholesterol 155 up from 133
tris   148 up from 95, the products I ate were bakery items which cause
raised tris
hdl  50 down from 55
ldl 73 up from 54
homocystein about 9
chol/hdl ratio 3.1 up from 2.9
aic   5.8 and I believe that is the same

so although the numbers are more than satisfactory, they are not good
enough for me, Hopefully the stress is being eliminated and I am eating
better

time to cut out the crap which someohow didnt raise my sugar

Yeah, they're not bad, Loretta - not huge swings away from your last
numbers - and at least you know how to fix things. Hope the stress
cause is better!

Loretta, I can relate very well the stress we experience relative to our
children!!!  Ashley DOES have gestational diabetes, and I'm helping her with
that.  Her GTT was grossly high.  I am not happy with the doctor's treatment
plan, so am going to teach her today.  At least she is already familiar with
a lot because of being around me.  Gotta teach her to carb-count.

Glad your numbers haven't suffered any more than they did, but at least you
know what to do to get them where you want them.  Good going!

Dear Loretta,

I have learned in my years never to say never.... Yes, at this stage of
life, we are all "damaged goods", so to speak, and it seems there has been
more than enough pain and disappointment to last any and all of us a
lifetime. Still, when they are honest, many men admit that they need women,
and I think it works the other way, also... In truth, I think we all need
each other.

You never know when that total surprise will come along... You cannot make
it happen. It just happens sometimes. In the meantime, mabye Bono was right,
when he sang, "A woman needs a man, like a fish needs a bicycle."   ;-)

"damaged goods",  ... ? ? ?

I'll have you know my wife thinks I am perfect.
I'm not going to argue with that.

Refined through time (like wine or cheese) is more like it than "damaged
goods".

Pshaw ! ....... ;)))

lol .. I enjoyed writing that ...

Sad to read about this.

You remind me of the woman by Jacob's well.

Yes, the concern remains because you still have type-2 diabetes.

May GOD help change your heart so that you will become convinced that
hunger is wonderful.

It is only when we are hungry that our bodies get rid of the bad
"inside" fat (VAT) that is harming us, causing many of us to have
type-2 diabetes.

The lower the WHR (waist to hip ratio) the less the VAT.

WHR < 0.75 seems to be optimal for women.

WHR < 0.85 seems to be optimal for men.

Indeed, the Holy Spirit is absolutely right to convict dear neighbor
Steve:

http://HeartMDPhD.com/Convicts

May you and other dear neighbors, friends, and brethren have a
blessedly wonderful 2008th year since the birth of our LORD Jesus
Christ as the Son of Man ...

... by being hungrier:

http://TruthRUS.org/KnowingGOD

Hunger is wonderful :-)

It's how we know what GOD wants, which is what is good.

Yes, hunger is our knowledge of good versus evil that Adam and Eve
paid for with their and our immortal lives.

Those who suffer from the powerful delusion predicted by the prophecy
of 2 Thessalonians 2:9-11 would deny this and perish ( gone !!! )
forever ...

Actually, it is our bad issues with hunger that can compel us to
overeat.

Those who now know in their hearts that feeling hungry is wonderful,
no longer have the irrational compulsion to overeat (ie eat until
stomachs are stretched and feeling "full").

Stress (being challenged) is good for many as is evident by their
being hungrier although admittedly for some, the stress is detrimental
as it causes a loss of hunger.

This means you have acquired more bad "inside" fat (visceral adipose
tissue or VAT).

> ldl 73 up from 54
> homocystein about 9

Optimal is less than 7.

You may be deficient in B12, folate, and/or B6 because of the effect
that diabetes has had on your kidneys.  Would suggest you ask your
doctor for a prescription supplement that addresses this (either
Folgard or MetaNX...  disclosure: no financial ties with the companies
that either make or market these).  Your becoming hungrier when you
take this will confirm that indeed you have become deficient.

Still pretty good all the same.

Trigs/HDL is still just under 3.0, but you're right to try
to improve that. I'm glad the stress is diminishing.
