Hello friends,

As many of you know, I read a number of books all the time, and just
about anything and everything that seems interesting which comes my
way. Well, today, I have spent some time browsing a book called,
"Rebooting: Defeating Depression with the Power of Kabbalah (The Power
of the Soul)", by Yehuda Berg.

This book appears to offer some very solid and sensible suggestions
for overcoming depression, and it might make good reading for many of
us, since many here suffer from depression. Also, because of the
unique Jewish perspective of the author, it might be of especial
interest for our Jewish members.

Not Jewish, but I've always admired the Jewish faith for it's deep wisdom. I
have very dear Jewish friends and always enjoy their perspectives on life.
I'll seek out that book the next time I go to the library.

Thanks Will!

Will, I have been thinking of studying the Kabbalah for a while, but I
just dont get to it.  Maybe this book, if I can read it and concentrate
and remember, will show me the way.

thanks for sharing

The way has been shown to you...

"I am the way, and the truth, and the life" -- The Messiah (John 14:6)

Amen.

"Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."
-- The Messiah (Matthew 5:3)

Amen.

"Blessed are those who hunger now, for they will be satisfied." -- The
Messiah (Luke 6:21)

Amen.

Be hungry... be healthy... be blessed:

II think you will find it easy reading, Loretta.... Unlike some
presentations of Kabbalah, this writer uses its themes and essence as a
framework for a very practical approach to combatting depression. It is not
an esoteric book, by any means.
