Began taking Zetia becuse the Lipitor was causing muscle ache. I noticed
that the effect s of this drug are similar to Orlistat(sp?). Has anyone had
similar experiences.

I take Zetia 10mg as ezetrol. I noticed no symptoms or side
effects of any sort after I dropped lipitor and then started
on Zetia some months later, a while ago.

What are the effects of orlistat that you are relating it
to?

Cheers, Alan, T2, Australia.
d&e, metformin 1500mg, ezetrol 10mg

The drug worked quite well for my lipid numbers but had the side effect of
horrible gastric distress - which is the most tactful way I can think to
describe the side effects. I couldn't keep taking it.

Changed to Welchol.

That is about the most tactful way I can think of to describe it to. Seems
to have helped me loses a few lbs though.
