Just for fun I cut up hot dogs to look like an octopus. It was an
interesting  presentation and the kids I did it for thought they were
fun. Since there's no bun, this version is diabetic-friendly.

It sounds interesting but when I went to the web page I could not find
a picture of them. Only one of you.

Americans killed in the occupation of Iraq as of August 05, 2007 is 3,669.
United Kingdom = 164 Other = 129.

How many more Americans must die to satisfy Bush's ego?
Let us all pray for Bush - God knows he needs it!

As of Augest 05, 2007 it has been 1558 days since Bush
while standing in front of the banner which was sent
to the ship by the White House saying MISSION ACCOMPLISHED
declared,"In the Battle of Iraq, the United States and our
allies have prevailed." IOW MISSION ACCOMPLISHED.

Isn't Bush's "surge" of troops working well?
Pay attention to the frequency of American deaths since it began.

They are there now. Short delay in getting them released onto the
server.

There's a little Japanese gadget made specifically for cutting your hot dog
into an octopus!

They also make ones to turn your hot dog into a crab or tulip.  And have you
seen the molds to shape hard boiled eggs into fish, cars, stars, bunnies...?
Eggs are also diabetic friendly.  I admit that I just got some of the egg
molds but have not (yet) bought any hot dog cutters.

LOL.
Oh brave new world that hath such gadgets in it :-)
I would need an extension to my kitchen to accommodate all of the
gadgets I see in foodie magazines.
Recently we moved to a much smaller house and I had to be ruthless in
culling my belongings.
I am not sure that a wiener octopus cutter would have survived the
cull:-)
My wonderful sharp knives are still with me.

Some of those are really cute. I'll probably break down and get some
in the near future. Fortunately I'm blessed with a large kitchen so I
can find a spare nook (or cranny) for some of these toys.

Thanks for sharing.

I saw this first on the food channel during an American Hot Dog
documentary.  There are several venders who sell octodogs.  They are
quite popular.
