Howdy;

I start Byetta tomorrow and was wondering if you could
provide the name of an internet store that sells the pen
needles at a fairly inexpensive price.  My search with
Google only found a couple places at around $30.00
per 100 plus shipping.

The samples I have are the "BD Ultra-Fine III, 3/16" 31 gauge
needles"

Any help would be appreciated as I have to pay for
all my diabetes supplies and drugs.

Regards and THANKS

Dan

Wal<art/Sam's Club is the cheapest, and a box of 100 will last me about
9 years - I change every month, and OCCASIONALY have to replace a bent one.

Ted, are you saying you re-use your needles unless they bend? I just
started Byetta,, 3 weeks ago,, so far,  all is good. I think I'm eating
more than I did before because I can eat more carbs that I could before
yet my sugar levels are wonderful.

Yes
I throw out the blue cap and leave the needle on the pen.  The needle
has it's own cover.
When I change pens I change needles, BUT occasionally I bend a needle
and need to use another one.

Oh yea, Loretta doesn't realize that, unless you expect insurance to pay
for it, needles don';t need a scrip.  People THINK that they do

Ted, you know I didnt know that.  As a matter of fact, when I get a new
refill for the byetta and then run out of needles, which I havent done
more than once since November I had to get a script.  It was covered by
insurance.

Ted, do you put the white cap back on the needle.

Cheryl, one of the side effects of byetta is that it is an appetitie
suppresaant.  Be careful, if you overeat, you will have nausea and
vomiting at time.  Byetta isnt so that you can eat more, iit is that you
can stabilize your numbers and many of us have lost lots of weight,  I
have lost about thirtyish pounds since being on.it

Dan, I had to get a prescription for the needles for the byetta pen.  I
dont know if you can by on line, but maybe you can,  With the
prescription, my insurance pays and I have a co pay of 15.00.  I use
each needles about three days so I dont find the cost prohibitve.

I hope you do well on the byetta.  If you eat too much. you will feel
sick. It is a great appetite suppresant.

I started with the same ones you did Dan, but my insurance refill was
for ReliON Pen Needles  5/16 31 gauge with 8mm. The needles is longer
than the BD ultra fine.

Check on price of it as the BD ones are much more expensive.

ps, I like the BD untra fine one better,, but not enough to pay 3 times
more.
