I'm beginning to think, if these neighbors can sleep through all the noise I
make with my midnight grillout... I'll never be able to aggravate them
awake. I'm gettin bored. Maybe tonigh I'll try something else.

I do, every night. I go to bed at 5am and get up at 1pm.... have been for 40
years.

You have to irritate them at the time of trying to go to sleep. Once I am
asleep I can sleep through an earthquake. If I hear a pin drop while trying
to get to sleep I have no chance. It's all in the timing.

I have a white noise machine and a fan. I wouldn't even know it if
someone was playing drums or loud music in my house, though I can
still feel boom boxes. :-)

There ya go, be careful though. A few years ago some man in Sacramento
was so upset with the boom box his neighbor was playing, that he took
his shotgun and blew the boom box up. I always admired that man. ;-)

Oh!  I love that man!!!!!!!!  I have my front-yard hose on "funnel" in hopes
I'll
be able to spray one of these teenage idiots in the face as they drive past
but the
timing has never been just right.  Still hoping though.

LOL Lindy, I'm pulling for you, and just a little side note here for
you. I rented Zodiac, and looks like that POS serial killer was
actually from Vallejo. :-)

Quote from yet another of my absolutly pointless site pages:

Don't you hate it when a car full of kids drives by with the radio up so
loud that you can hear it from a hundred feet away? Don't those kids know
that the noise you're gonna be subjected to for all of 5 to 10 seconds will
damage you for life, ruin your whole day and cause you to bitch, moan and
complain for the next 10 minutes when a normal person would have merely
smiled in memory of their own youth."

Musicians would answer that as Malaguena... the layman would probably answer
it as Wipeout.

I bet you'll get a better price from John's neighbors, although frags
would probably double the price.

Just got back from the store. Got supplies for tonight's midnight

watch me burn it.

Maybe a little old for you - but if your neighbours are a
bit old for hard rock, you could try their era:

Gene Krupa: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qRjQzSwmEHw
or Gene and a couple of friends:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QbMlHAFZXx0

PS. Marinate the steak in some of that '07 Shiraz for a few
hours with some chopped onions. Best use I can think of for
young Shiraz - and it tenderises steak beautifully. Then, if
you're cooking it on a flat hotplate or skillet, pour the
marinade in the skillet to deglaze it after serving the
steak and it will reduce to a delicious sauce to pour over
the steak.

I know I'm starting to sound like Julie, (just joking, Julie) but I never
liked Gene Krupa... too busy.

The Shiraz is gone... managed to choke it down. Back to Merlot tonight.

By George, I've got it. Computer speakers towards the windows on one side of
the house, stereo speakers pointed out the other side.. and the car, with
doors open and radio on full volume in front of the house... all cranked up
to peak... together with some hickory chips in the grill for a loud smell...
all right at the stroke at midnight! That oughta start the neighbors
screaming... hahahahahaha...ahahahaha...ahahahahaha.

I getting enthused again.

Old lady from down the block just rode her scooter by my house.... then she
rode by again going the other way. Then, she rode back and stopped at my
driveway. When she got my attention she waved and smiled.... I went in the
house till she left..... old witch wants my steak.
