Does anyone use cinnamon on a regular basis to help control BG?  Have
you had much success?

Thanks.

I don't because it raised my BG very badly.  I used to pill it.  I was
actually glad when I stopped using it because it was leaving me with the
taste of cinnamon in my mouth all the time and I felt like I reeked of it.

I tried it long ago to see if it affected BG - without any
discernible effect at all. Since then I have used it infused
(I use the quills) in my morning black coffee for the taste
- still with no effect but it tastes good.

Sure - I've tried it over several months and never been able to see any
significant difference. I use it now as a snack. YMMV.

There's speculation that it would help if you were chromium deficient
- which you're not likely to be if you have a varied diet. You could
ask for a test, I guess...  personally, I continue to chuck some in
foods I like it with, and have seen no effects either way.

This is the first time I have seen chromium associated with
cinnamon. Do you have more info? Thanks,
Burt

No, I can't! I'm certain I've read that, but all I can find is a
strong connection with manganese:

Will keep looking for the chromium link. I ripped google desktop off
my laptop because it was too resource-hungry, but it sure found
stuff...
