Loretta Eisenberg - 28 May 2007 19:08 GMT This is just how I believe but I think if you treat people the way you want to be treated it works more often than not.

One of these days the lights will go out. Then all of our abuse will not mean a thing.
It is worth while to be able to say I was important while I am alive.
That I am a human not a "mad dog".

My parents, uncles and aunties all had their fights and spats. Now they are all co-existing quietly within the same mile of land. Now, many years later, all the fighting is irrelevant. It's best to enjoy your living time on earth in being as happy as you can; in not causing or contributing to strife; in trying to brighten up people's lives, especially those in desperate need of being happier than they are. This is what makes a person's life successful.

A snake is very sucessful in is own domain It is not a human.

Snakes are simply animals, not evil. Humans can be evil. The comparison is unfair to the snake.

That is actually a good piece of advice - if you see someone on the floor - on the ground - yes, do pick him up. he needs picking up. You probably do need picking up.
