Scott Hendryx - 24 May 2007 22:55 GMT Didn't go to well. I was complaining about my feet hurting, all my joints, specially my ankles and shoulders. Minor chest pains and my ears are ringing all the time.
The She Doktor started me on Lyrica. I took a total of two yesterday. I woke up about 3 am. beating on my feet as it felt like I was getting bit by fireants. After I broke a coupla toes pounding on them, I realized I wasn't getting bit. Damn, I never had that happen before, usually my feet feel like I'm walking on coals. Anyway, I had some interesting dreams on this drug. And none of them were good.....I hope this stuff starts working soon, it's driving me crazy.
Oh yea, for the heart I got an appointment for a drug induced stress test next week and the ENT also next week. The ringing in my ears if really bugging me, but I doubt if there is much they can do for it...

Eggs are really good for you. They have all the nutrition needed to make a chicken.

The Lyrica works wonders with that. I take 300mg for it. You get used to being stoned on Lyrica after a while....lol.
Good luck with everything John

I've had the ringing since June of '96. It just becomes part of your life and you move on.
best of luck
Paul

I was handed a pamphlet and shown the door after an exam that included a hearing test. I used to be on the tinnitus support newsgroup but discovered that logging on to the group made me more conscious of the ringing and thus made it worse.
My most recent attempt to address the problem was a 30 day trial of melatonin. Apparently that has helped some folks but didn't do anything for my problem.
cheers
Paul

Hubby was advised to try Ginko Biloba for his - induced by anti-inflammatories. He's been on 'em for a couple of weeks with no improvement, so no personal recommendation - but they might be worth a try.

> My most recent attempt to address the problem was a > 30 day trial of melatonin. Apparently that has helped > some folks but didn't do anything for my problem. > > cheers I went to the ENT today. She says my ears look good, but the estation(sp) look bad, my throat is too small, I have severe allergies, and I don't sleep well. I didn't know you could tell that from one 10 second look into an ear....She took me off my decongestants, told me to continue with Nasonex and start Zyrtec for 30 days and come back. Said to quit drinking all stimulants and get more rest. Being in the computer business and working 24/7 it will be hard for me to do.
I go to the heart doctor tomorrow and she said to make sure I tell him about the ringing. Sometimes the ticker can cause that problem too.
So, more drugs and more doctors. Plus, Monday I was laying a tile floor and walked right into my wifes exercise machine and broke most of my right foot.....Crap, they might as well cut it off now, since we are all headed that way anyways.

Loretta Eisenberg - 25 May 2007 22:55 GMT I have a friend who has been on Lyrica, I believe it takes time to get into your system and work, Scott.
It must be just awful for you to have these feelings.
Welcome to asd
