As a memebr of a family known for sky high triglycerides - how did you do
it?

I cannot pinpoint what did it. Ask your doctor if and how it can be
done - doctors assume you will not change so they don't tell you ways
to reverse conditions, they medicate.

I got no problem following diets and exercise and anything else I need to
do but so far the diet and exercise routine has worked well for lowering
everything but the Tri's maybe it's the genes in this Gene.

Has no doctor ever suggested to you that this is the case?

I mean, at a certain point, one of the best doctors I've ever had told me
flat out.

Nope, but I'm not going to worry about it yet since the folks that I know
had high tri's in my family lived past 80 years of age.

Well, I didn't bring it up to introduce 'worrying' about it. There's no
point in worrying about it at all. However, it can be explanatory about why,
for some of us, neither exercise alone or diet alone or them in combination
or medication alone will help us with our lipids. Instead it is highly
likely we need a concerted effort in all ways.

I agree Donna. I'm going to give it longer and see if I can get it down
but from the time I was Dx'd with diabetes to now it's just gone up with
diet and exercise and it was high to start with.

Maybe if we all look real close we can find an expiration date.

I wonder why they'd say that? Flax seed oil does a pretty decent job.

That's what my brother's doctor has him taking although he's taking it as an
enteric coated tablet.
