:I just got an email with an offer of an upgraded meter (for free) from
: Lifescan... It's a one person only offer, so I guess it's not an open to

I can't remember who it was that posted the link about a month or two back
but Lifescan has a FREE meter offer without having to do anything but fill
out
a simple half a page survey. I had 2 neighbors that needed new meters, so
I filled out 2.. because neither had online access and they were elderly and
didn't get out often and trying to explain how to use the computer at the
local
library was a blunder... I filled them both out on the same day and the
meters
arrived a day apart. Hopefully someone can find the link and repost it.
But thanks for your offer. I also have 2 Ultra Meters (brand new in box)
and
2 Ultra2 meters if anyone is interested. I also have a spare serial cable
for
the Ultra(2) to connect to the software if anyone is in need of that. I'd
called
and asked for a free usb cable and they sent me a serial instead.. so I
called
back and asked again for the USB and they sent me 2... already passed one
of them on.. now just have the serial left.

It was Diana, in this post:

The link that she posted for the survey was here:
https://www.onetouchgold.com/simplestart/
Note: the survey only promises a free DVD and booklet. If you answer
the survey the "right" way, you may also get a free OTU-2 meter, but
some people who tried it weren't offered one. (I did.)
The DLife website also offers a free OTU-2 meter if you register for
the site, at this page:
http://dlife.com/dLife/do/ShowRegistration
(That one appears to have no other conditions attached.)
