tigerLilly,.

What is shown is a CORRELATION, not a cause relationship.

T2 Diabetes CAUSES obesity, probably not the other way around.

I say PROBABLY, because, while there is quite a lot of evidence that
that is the case, no one has yet found a way to accurately prove which
is the cause and which s the effect.

Correct.

Indeed, the article describes evidence that visceral adipose tissue
(VAT) is causing the metabolic syndrome (MetS) in folks with type-1
diabetes.

This MetS will ultimately lead to "double" diabetes if the VAT is not
lost.

May GOD continue to heal our hearts with HIS living water curing our
diabetes, depression, anxiety or panic so that we can love our
neighbors a little more and LORD Jesus Christ a lot more, dear neighbor
Kate whom I love unconditionally.

Prayerfully in Christ's amazing love,

Andrew <><

As for knowing who are the very elect, these you will know by the
unconditional love they have for everyone including their enemies
(Matthew 5:44-45, 1 Corinthians 13:3, James 2:14-17).
