War on Postprandial spikes

This article titled "Blunting After-Meal Glucose Spikes
by Linda Wasmer Andrews" would make good reading for newbie's who, together
with their doctor, will be deciding on their treatment. The article address
spike control by using insulin or meds.

Eating low or distributed carbs is another way to control postprandial
spikes which is not discussed in this article. This is the treatment of
choice for many who cannot or will not us insulin or meds. Every diabetic
must find the treatment that is best for them and a regimen they will stick
with for the rest of their lives.
