Bruce was on his way to work and got snarled up in a traffic
jam approaching Sydney Bridge. After sitting patiently for
over half an hour he got out and wandered over to the crowd
of other drivers who were stood by looking towards the
bridge.

"Bin an accident mate?" enquired Bruce to nobody in
particular.

"No there someone threatening suicide by jumping off the
bridge. The cops are trying to talk her out of it"

"here see for yourself" said one guy stood behind Bruce and
offered him a set of binoculars. Bruce thanked the man and
peered towards the bridge.

"Oh no!!! I know her - damn" said Bruce as he handed the
glasses back and marched off on foot towards the police
line. When he got there and told the police he knew her they
told him to go and have a word and see if he could help. He
was cleared through and pointed towards the team near the
woman.

Bruce looked at the woman perched on top of the rails and
shouted so she would hear clearly "Sheila! what the hell are
you doing up there?"

She replied "You - you B******* you got me pregnant and now
don't want anything to do with me. You never said you were
married." she sobbed. "so i am going to jump and to hell
with you"

"Hell Sheila!! you were a bloody good lay but i had no idea
you were such a good sport"
