We have been going to wound care every day, for my sister's wound in her
foot to be re-dressed and have all this week, been doing pre-op for her
tumor surgery. It is tentatively scheduled for 12/21/06, dependent on
her test results. One of her heart tests wasn't so good, I guess, but we
don't know what will really happen till we see the dr. on the 20th.
We've both had theflu all week, so we are not feeling so well. I have
her blood sugar WAY DOWN, though.

Thanks for the update rainbow. I was wondering how you and your sis were
doing. I hope everything goes well. Please keep us posted, and take care
of yourself during the flu recovery. Great news that her BG's are way
down though. It will certainly help with the healing. Best to all of
you.

Hey, Rainbow - good to hear from you! Sounds like you're still under the
cosh, keep on keeping on, gal - and well done on your sister's BG, that's
got to be helping her healing! Hope the two of you - and your Mom - get
sorted real soon now.
Nicky.

G'day G'day Rainbow,
Congratulations on getting her blood glucose down.
It will help with the wound healing.
Sisters have a special relationship ... or so I read on a pillow
cover. I reckon it must be true since you've been going with her to
wound care every day and doing pre-op for tumor surgery.
Keep those fingers crossed for the surgery.
Best wishes,
