Thanks Ozgirl, we had the EEG today and they said we will get the results within a week at the latest. I think if it were really bad news the Neurologist would have called by now, but I could be wrong. He apparently gets the results sent to him that afternoon, but seeing it now the w/end he may not have had time to analyze them. I have a feeling that it was definitely a hypoglycemic seizure, after what I have read here, it makes sense. The tip-off for my nephew's epilepsy was that he had a really hard time learning to ride a bike. At first it was just put down to dyspraxia, but it became clear that what was happening was a rapid series of mini-seizures that cleared his memory - the poor kid had no idea where he was or what he was doing, and had to start from scratch every few minutes. I can't remember what drug he was put on, but he was able to come off it a couple of years ago age 12, with no further seizures. Nicky.
