There's another site that's offering a free OTU2 as well, and it seems more straightforward (not the "some are offered it, and some aren't" deal that was on lifescan's site). If you register for dLife at http://dlife.com/dLife/do/ShowRegistration you can opt to get a free meter, with these conditions:
"FREE BGM OFFER TERMS & CONDITIONS Offer valid for residents of the United States, Puerto Rico, and the District of Columbia, who provide a valid mailing address during the dLife member registration process (sorry, we cannot deliver to P.O. boxes). Void where prohibited. Limit one free blood glucose monitor per registered dLife member. Please allow 6-8 weeks for your free blood glucose monitor to arrive. Offer good through December 31, 2006, or while supplies last."

Go figure.

Looks like the answers on the first page may determine if they offer you a free meter on the second page. I went there today, and I filled it out and got the offer.

Lovely to see you again:-)
O_O
We've been wondering where , and how, you were.
The post about Canadian testing depressed me - your appearance has made my day - thanks! I'm almost tempted to do one of Kate's snoopy happy dances:-)

I do believe she has gone anonymous even to we loyal long-time friends. I always looked forward to her emails, even when she was down. If she happened to be depressed I always felt I knew she was hanging on to the thread of hope that came through emails from a few of us.

Cheri - 18 Nov 2006 04:11 GMT Could be Chuck. My opinion is, not that you asked, but if someone isn't feeling like communicating at certain times, best not to insist, and don't take it personally. YMMV, but I believe that Diana knows we all care about her, and she'll email you or be back when she's ready. Sleepy also goes through those times. :-)

The difference is that Sleepy put me in his killfile and has always refused to say why or to give me a chance to make an amend. No big deal, but I do think I have something positive to share a lot of the time. Oh well. We do what we can.

Cheri - 18 Nov 2006 06:04 GMT I think you always have positive things to say Chuck. I don't always agree with your politics, but I know you're "positive" in your beliefs. The main thing with Diana, is that she checked in, so we know she's OK. I don't think too much about it when long time posters don't post, life happens and all that, as long as I know they're OK. I know you're on an email basis with Mack, and it's really unusual for him to be missing for so long, so do you know why he's not posting? I'm wondering what happened to Ted too. Is anybody in contact with him? Has anybody cc'd him? :-) Where are ya Ted?
