We laughed yesterday when the weatherman said possible snow today (it was in the 60's in Pocatello. Drove in snow all the way up today. Didn't see the sun until about 5:30 p.m. Did the two mile loop to observation point at Old Faithful. Saw three sizable herds of Bison at Fountain Flats, 15 deer (at least) and about a dozen Bison at Old Faithful, and two groups of elk between Madison and West Yellowstone on the way out. Also one coyote and several clusters of geese on the rivers. |
