That is great Janie,  The best part is that you feel good.

Thanks,Will. I still don't feel too well but that sure cheered me up. I
learned a hard lesson and all of you have been so supportive.

After where you have been 108 is nothing to sneeze at!

I have been through all the same territory...

You are very brave, I might add.

Hooray!  Is the kidney infection still hurting, or is everything clearing
up?

The infection is still hurting. It got so bad,I had to be taken to the
hospital. I was on IV's for awhile and felt much better. But it is still
lingering.:(

Janie, it's pretty normal for it to take a few days to start getting under
control whenever it is a big one.  The one I just got over took two rounds
of antibiotics.

Did they not give you any pyridium?  Are you having flank pain in your back?

Hang in there.... *s*

Well,I am now in the competent hands of my urologist. All this started when
my BG went to 410. On Sunday,I went to the emergency room and they said
everything was high and I had blood in my urine. They gave me some
antibiotics that aren't working,a pain shot and sent me on my way. Monday,I
collapsed. We were in the emergency room so long,I was getting dressed just
to go home. The incompetent nurse ran and got the incompetent dr who came
running and said they found only blood in my urine.. I said,"Well, what does
that mean?" He actually said it was not a problem. He gave me some pain meds
and walked out. The incompetent nurse took my IV out and my arm was covered
with dried blood. She didn't even bother to clean it off with an alcohol
swab! When I got home,I took a pic of it and sent it to the hospital
administrator. I said,"This is how I left your emergency room. Nice, huh?"
They have called,SO apologetic but I won't go back there. We live in a small
beach town and have always had a small Beach hospital till a bigger hospital
bought it. It has grown tremendously but they simply don't have enough staff
to cover it. We waited 7 hours and my nurses light had been on 45 minutes
and she still hadn't come in.
Like I said,I have learned a very hard lesson.
