Arnie had something to say about
irregular heartbeats and atrial fib:
Right now I'm taking meds for my heart.
I get frequent Atrial
Fibrillations, rapid and uneven heart
beat. So I can work out
but not like I used to. I go to the gym
five days a week. I
used to do one hour of strenuous cardio,
20-25 min stretches,
and 20-25 min weights. Now I do 30 min
of easy cardio,
stretches, and 15-20 min lighter
weights.

Arnie, I had a similar problem about a
month ago.  The irregularity was so bad
that I couldn't get a reading on my BP
monitor.  After a little web research, I
supplemented with vitamin B-12 and it
went away completely.  Most doctors
don't even think of vitamin and mineral
deficiency; they just slam you with
drugs.  It might not work for you, but
it's worth trying.

Wow.  This post is about three years
old.  I have solved the problem,
although I still watch it pretty
carefully.  I changed servers and
dropped off Usenet for several years.
Last night I reactivated my account with
the new server, and apparently this post
finally got sent.  The B-12 worked, but
the real problem was that I was being
over-medicated with blood pressure
medicine.
