Bad news for DepoProvera fans: http://www.diabetesincontrol.com/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=3590 " Contraception with depo-medroxyprogesterone acetate (DMPA) is associated with an increase in the risk of diabetes in some Latino women with prior gestational diabetes." I'm not Latino, but I think I did have at least one GD, and I was on Depo for 10 years. Nicky.
