Note that I'm type 2. So treat my comment warily (I have no
problem with Mack, or Fester or any of the other type 1's
telling me to pull my head in on this one:-)
Try, just for a couple of days, testing your postprandial
spikes. Not just your two-hour BGs, find when you are
peaking after meals - it may be at one hour, it may be at
three, but find it. That will mean some extra tests after
meals for a couple of days, because your peaks may actually
be at different times for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Then review the meal and your insulin dosing. You may see
some patterns emerge which will help you adjust one or the
other. Or both.
