Cheri - 18 Mar 2006 04:33 GMT Hi Loretta,
Just wanted to tell you that it pissed me off too. I knew it wasn't Reisa, and said so. I don't like to get in the fights between the posters, because I think they all have good information, but I really hate insinuating, hurtful posts between the regular posters. Personally, I think it's Sally or David, but it really makes no difference to me what they think of me. Hope all is well with you. Take care.

David - 18 Mar 2006 04:39 GMT > Hi Loretta, > [quoted text clipped - 7 lines] > -- > Cheri Cheri, you are SO clueless. Your personality has taken a big dive as of late. I used to hold you in high regard. You are a hypocrite, an instigator, vicious, and disengenious. I have NEVER, EVER posted under any name but David since I created that screen name. NEVER. YOU are an a.shole. (You were LONG overdue to for that!)
Dave
Cheri - 18 Mar 2006 05:17 GMT I posted what I felt David. I do think it was you or Sally. You have done nothing but insult me for no reason these past few days, so your insult filled post below doesn't really mean much, but when you speak to me in a civil manner, I will speak to you in a civil manner, otherwise we have nothing to say to each other. I don't wish you ill, and take care.

That makes you a low rent loser in my opinion. If you didn't wish me ill, you wouldn't have made accusations, so as I said before, you are vicious, a hypocrite, and disingenuous. You can tell the world how nice you are as many times as you want to, but your actions speak volumes.

Again, despite a transparent attempt to deflect blame from yourself onto others, you continue to evade the real issue, which is your total lack of support in this group, instead using it in an attempt to feed your massive ego. Psychologists call this transference. This immature behavior has probably gotten you into lots of trouble over the years, so I'm sure you know what I'm talking about.
I'd love to introduce you to my 10 year old grandson. He could teach you lots about mature behavior. Of course, since he is only a kid, similar departures from maturity do crop up occasionally.
Now, go to your room, and no computer for the rest of the day!
David - 19 Mar 2006 18:13 GMT >>>>>>> You're just the one to lecture others about being civil. >>>>>> [quoted text clipped - 37 lines] > > Now, go to your room, and no computer for the rest of the day! You're mildly funny! Kooky; but with a touch of humor. You accuse me of the very thing that you have been doing this entire thread. I got unjustly accused by Cheri and you have steadfastly refused to acknowledge that she did so. Talk about deflection! Instead of addressing the issue of her reprehensible behavior, you continue to belittle ME. I think your grandson is likely to be more mature than yourself, without knowing anything about him.
How was I to blame for Cheri's wild accusations?
Dave
Cheri - 19 Mar 2006 19:00 GMT Why would Langerhans need to acknowledge anything to you, since I already said it was bad behavior and apologized to you and Sally? Get over it David, and have a good one.

That went out when I left home for the military at age 20. Also, your "apology" was hardly sincere. It was so much briefer than your posts trying to paint me as the poster of the thread you and the other denizens took exception to. Your status with me remains strained.

Cheri - 19 Mar 2006 20:28 GMT If you think I'm sending you several pounds of King Crab as an apology, think again. LOL In the meantime, while you're straining, don't hurt yourself. Take care.

Seriously, Cheri, don't you think you were being uncharacteristically unfair to try to paint me as some lowlife slacker who gets their kicks from posting under different screen names? That's something I don't do; nor do I condone others who do that. I don't like people hiding behind anonymous remailers, either. If someone has something to say, they need to admit it came from them, instead of barging in on a throw-away screen name to stir up things. Stirring should be done under one's regular screen name. :)
PS: if you can't get the Colossal variety, 20 lbs of the regular Alaskan KCL would be a suitable substitute.
Dave
Cheri - 19 Mar 2006 21:50 GMT David, yes, I do think it was terribly rude of me. If I had really thought it through before posting, I would've known it wasn't you. I don't always agree with your posts, but I've never known you to post under an alias. I do apologize for giving you a bad rap over this, and I'm sorry. Sincerely.

Mea culpa. Give me a good swat!

Cheri - 20 Mar 2006 05:39 GMT Nah David, you don't owe me an apology, but I appreciate it anyway. I would have been torqued too, and more than a little salty (age showing) if the situation was reversed, I have a terrible cussing problem when I'm around here alone, and always have to be on guard that I don't use that language in public, so I really didn't think yours was too bad at all. :-) I'm glad we were able to work it out in a civil manner.

That's alright. I can still see the useful things he posts. You are right about the excellent articles, etc. that he posts.
IMHO the best thing to do when he starts one of his attacks it just ignore it rather than retaliating.

As I posted in response to Loretta's post, my reaction was conditioned by the fact that some anonymous person who sounds exactly like your friend went on a campaign to destroy my diabetes site by sending the company that runs the site letters threatening legal action and accusing me of posting advice on my site that had caused someone they knew to go blind.
If your friend wasn't the source of the letters she is due an apology, but if she wasn't she needs to know that someone went way out of their way to make it look like she _was_ the source of the letters, using a strategy I won't go into here.
So if she wasn't the source of the letters attempting to destroy my diabetes site, someone very sick is trying to make her look bad.

Cheri - 18 Mar 2006 19:27 GMT Jenny, she is my friend, as much as any person that you haven't met can be I suppose. Maybe IRL, none of us could stand each other, but I consider you my friend too. I don't know anything about the issues you mention below, but as you know, or I hope you do, I think your site is wonderful, and I'm sure it would be upsetting to me too if somebody was attacking my site, but I'm learning a good lesson here. Never, never, speculate about identity without knowing 100%. ;-)
