Peter, it is hot. I had a stomach bug that started yesterday and was worse by morning. I had to travel to Valentine this morning as my boys had footy games. I was gone more than 6 hours, I am burnt, my head is aching from both the bug and no food. All in all I feel like crap :( Coming back through Belmont and Swansea I so wished we had brought swimming things with us. Happy Birthday Jan. We had tandoori chicken dinner that was served with pilau rice and naan, and fbg this morning was 7 mmol (126 mg) ..... earlier on I did have a teeny bite of apple pie. All in all I really enjoyed feeling healthy this birthday as compared to my last birthday when I had 13 mmol (225 plus mg) and having no feelings in my fingertips, frozen shoulder, running to the loo every 15 minutes, miserably tired. I guess my current fbg will take a while to come down because of the flu. Today I did take extra's and that's not good and no excuses. Tomorrow I start my proper eating again.
