Happy Birthday, Ozgirl. If the weather 100k from my place is like it is here it looks good for a barbeque or the beach, but don't forget the 30+ sunscreen and keep the Hahn in the esky until you need it.
(No, I will not explain "Hahn" or "esky" to USAnians.)

Peter, it is hot. I had a stomach bug that started yesterday and was worse by morning. I had to travel to Valentine this morning as my boys had footy games. I was gone more than 6 hours, I am burnt, my head is aching from both the bug and no food. All in all I feel like crap :( Coming back through Belmont and Swansea I so wished we had brought swimming things with us.
Cheri - 11 Mar 2006 18:35 GMT Happy Birthday Jan. I hope you're doing something fun, with a full report to us. :-)

The following information is given with the utmost respect for the armed forces and civilians who have died in the current war in Iraq. According to http://icasualties.org/oif/ The number of Americans killed in Iraq as of Mar. 10, 2006 is 2,307. Americans wounded = 16,653 United Kingdom = 103 Other = 103 Iraqi deaths in excess of 30,000 - probably many more.
Today, March 11, 2006 It has been 1045 days since Bush declared, "Mission Accomplished in Iraq."

Anil - 11 Mar 2006 21:22 GMT Jan (Thanks Nicky for that hint!),
Its kind of strange to say happy birthday when I hardly know you. But then again, I have nothing but best wishes for all of you! I most certainly have a very soft corner for every one who has been asked to be member of this select group.
Knowing what that means, every birthday is a great time to rejoice life, rejoice every day as a present and look towards future full of hope and even better health :-).
Wishing your every thing best life has to offer you!

Happy Birthday. :-) [quoted text clipped - 8 lines] >>From the other birthday girl, >>S Hi, Ozgirl, Cheri, Will, Loretta, Thanks for the wishes, and yes I had a wonderful day yesterday. We had tandoori chicken dinner that was served with pilau rice and naan, and fbg this morning was 7 mmol (126 mg) ..... earlier on I did have a teeny bite of apple pie. All in all I really enjoyed feeling healthy this birthday as compared to my last birthday when I had 13 mmol (225 plus mg) and having no feelings in my fingertips, frozen shoulder, running to the loo every 15 minutes, miserably tired.
I guess my current fbg will take a while to come down because of the flu. Today I did take extra's and that's not good and no excuses. Tomorrow I start my proper eating again. Thanks for your wishes, have a wonderful week ahead, Please take care, San
