Down to 6.3 from 6.9.  Pretty good I think, considering that one of those
three months was pretty much nothing but wildly high numbers.

Looking back, I thought I was doing the right thing.  Trying to eat low carb
with all those eggs and that cheese.  But now I know that the food allergies
were likely the cause of my wildly out of control numbers.  My numbers are
still not perfect.  I still have a few wacky spikes that I can't account
for.  But mostly they are in range or very close to it.  So I'm happy!  And
no Byetta for me.  Not now, anyway...

Good news Julie!

Sometimes I wonder if there is anything at all that you can
eat safely - but you've obviously found some sustenance
along the way:-)

Congratulations, Julie! You have come a very long way, and you deserve
an immense amount of credit. :-) You are a trooper. Keep it up, and

Excellent news! And your A1c will hopefully be trending down, as your body
settles down to an allergen-free life : )

How's the exercise going? Is that still possible?

Nicky.

I was finally able to exercise again for maybe two weeks, but then we all
got the flu or some similar bug..  I am feeling better but still not totally
over that so I'm not pushing it.  Apparently my immune system is still
damaged for whatever reason.  I seem to get anything and everything that
goes around.  I did  mention this to the Dr. and it seems everyone is
getting it.

The following information is given with the utmost respect
for the armed forces and civilians who have died in the
current war in Iraq. According to http://icasualties.org/oif/
The number of Americans killed in Iraq as of Mar. 08, 2006 is 2,306.
Americans wounded = 16,653
United Kingdom = 103
Other = 103
Iraqi deaths in excess of 30,000 - probably many more.

Today, March 10, 2006
It has been 1044 days since Bush declared,
"Mission Accomplished in Iraq."

Julie, you must feel great seeing that the a1c is on a downward trend.
what is the a1c that you aim for for yourself.

Loretta.

I don't set goals.  Seems rather pointless.  After all these years of
diabetes, it seems in my case, my BG is going to do what it wants to do no
matter what.  I've gone from having to eat and eat to try to keep it up out
of hypo from having to eat next to nothing to keep it in range.  As long as
I can eat 3 meals a day in some form or other and it's close to normal, I'll
be happy.
