Mush first I need to understand the question and then I hope someone can
answer it. It sounds interesting.

Excess glucose is excreted out of the body by the kidneys. Is that what you
wanted to know?

Hi Mush. Sugar doesn't collect in muscle cells, but fat does. Type 2
diabetes is a severe form of insulin resistance, and during insulin
resistance cells burn more fat and less glucose than normal. Over a long
time, oxidized fat accumulates in insulin-resistant muscle and liver cells
and interferes with their normal operation. This oxidized fat tends to make
the cells even more insulin resistant. Russ Farris
