Interesting presentations on beta cells and their repair/death mechanisms

I tripped over this when searching on google, it's a link to
presentations at the New York Academy of Science. They're pretty
interesting - way heavy on the biochemistry and I only understand about
60% of it but there's a lot of info on the way beta cells replicate (or
don't) or fail or die in them.

I liked the "Beta Cells 101" and "Regulation of Beta Cell Mass and
Neogenesis" ones the best.
