Don't wait for the fasting blood glucose. Get him to a hospital
emergency room right away.

Don't wait till the morning. Have him wash his hands and test again. If
it's still that high, get him to the Dr. He could be type 1 and if you
delay, he could die.

Holy cow, take that boy to the ER right now, don't wait for
anything else at all. At 20 it is most likely type 1
diabetes and he can sink very fast without treatment - like
hours. Don't mean to scare you but this needs to be checked
out yesterday.

Take him to a *good* ER at a hospital that specializes in or has serious
competence in diabetes. The boy is going to need a bed for a few days.
In the meantime, do *not* make him exercise: he's doubtlessly burning
protein/fat instead of glucose and thus is in ketosis, and you don't want to
help him get it so seriously it makes his blood acidic (known as
keto-acidosis).

Just my $.02, but you are dealing with a killer, who is in kill mode.
Do not procrastinate. A life hangs in the balance. I know what it
feels like to be that high, and so do very many of the rest of us.
Get to the ER immediately! Prolonged high levels like you are
describing can very quickly cause serious damage, and if it gets any
worse, death.

DO NOT WAIT TO CHECK HIS FASTING BG, CALL YOUR DOCTOR NOW OR TAKE HIM
TO THE ER AND GET HIM CHECKED OUT. YOU ARE DESCRIBING TYPE 1 ONSET
WHICH CAN BE LIFE THREATENING.
and yes I did mean that as shouting.
