I've been marooned in the house for two days, the Rose Parade is already
getting boring and I'm looking for "meal stallers," ways of not eating
until it's actually time to eat.
My usual staller is to have a cup of green tea with fresh lime, cinnamon
and ground cloves.
Any other ideas would be appreciated--except doggie chews. :)

Uncle, I am having a meal staller right now. I keep sugar free swiss
miss hot chocolate in the house and add a dollop of lite cool whip.
It is better tasting to me than a celery stalk, yuck, lol
it has about seven carbs. I take about an hour to drink it so at the
end it is cold hot chocolate.

I love celery! But you couldn't pay me to drink hot cocoa!

Has anyone tried fresh lime slices sprinkled with Splenda? Don't eat
more than one or your teeth may become sensitive.

Not only sensitive, it will eat the enamel off your teeth! Same with
lemons.

I had a friend who ate a fresh lemon every day. Her dentist couldn't figure
out why her enamel was gone from her teeth.
A woman I worked with said she whitened her teeth using lemon juice and
salt. Her dentist said the same thing.

Yup, a friend of mine who was a dentist was the one to tell me this.

It doesn't meet the definition of "not eating", but what I do is go ahead
and have a cracker or two, maybe with a bit of cream cheese. It staves off
hunger & keeps me from feeling deprived.
I know, it's <eek!> some of them nasty ole carbs (maybe as much as <gasp!>
5-6g). But it works for me.
I also drink a lot of diet soda.
