Hi All

Has any one tried any of the Glucerna skakes, bars etc?  I saw them
advertised and wondered if they are worth trying

Any feedback with be helpful.

For those who are put off by the signature, my advance apologies for

I would not try them.  First, I dislike shakes.  But I did get a free bar
and it didn't look at all appealing.  And it contained fructose and that's
very bad for diabetics.

I found them to be just too darned expensive
for what they offered, along with having 38gm
of carbs in each one... they definately weren't
enough to fill me up, and in the morning -- too
many carbs for my liking.

they also have a funky taste imo.

I have never had any of their products so I cant help you there.

As far as your signature, why would it bother anyone.  In my opinion, as
long as you are not living the life of Kurt Cobain, which would be your
business, you can be whomever you want.

If you want a low carb shake that has lots of vitamins & minerals, try
the Atkins shakes.  I have one for breakfast every day while driving to
work.

If you have a Trader Joe's nearby, the Pure Protein Shakes are good and
reasonably priced. 5 gms of carb per serving, low fat, and lots of
vitamin and minerals I like the Creamy Vanilla a lot, and the Chocolate
is good, but didn't care for the Strawberry. I haven't been to Trader
Joe's for awhile, and I bought mine by the case, but I assume they still
sell them separately for around .89 a can.
