Here is a link that oldies should note.  A
recent report o n TV said that Medicare
is out of control.   That cuts must come from
somewhere.

Too bad the biggest cuts are to the taxes of those who least need it.
Screw the old and the poor.

"I used to think I was poor. Then they told me I wasn't poor, I was needy. Then they
told me it was self-defeating to think of myself as needy, I was deprived. Then they
told me deprived was a bad image, I was underprivileged. Then they told me
underprivileged was overused, I was disadvantaged. I still don't have a dime,
but I sure have a great vocabulary."

For the record, that linked article is over 3 years old. I think Medicare
has changed a great deal since then, although scams and misuse still grow
rampant.
