I hope they're right, as a bag leapt into my trolley this evening all on its
own : ) It mysteriously got opened and some are missing whilst the shopping
was put away, too.

I think the same mysterious force keeps putting chocolate kisses into my
shopping cart at Target. <g>

Hey, that happened to me at Wal-Mart today. One perfect chocolate cherry
truffle in a cute little box. :-)

It was great, and only cost 56 cents. I really liked the idea that there
was only one in it, cause sometimes if I have a whole box of something,
it's like it's patterned on my mind. Merry Christmas to you and Mary,
Dave.

Thanks, Cheri.  Merry Christmas (none of that silly "Happy Holiday"
political INcorrect nonsense) to you and yours.

Dave, if you listened to your "wife-gremlin" you wouldn't have such trouble!

Your loving wifey!

Gee, I thought I was the only one who was attacked in the grocery store
by mysterious items that surely **I** wouldn't put in the cart.  Today
a box of cashews showed up in the groceries < grin>.
When my son was a teen, every time he came to the grocery with me, 6
packs of beer - and even a case, once - appeared on the bottom of the
cart.  It was a very fun running joke, that alas, has ended now that
he's 21 & hasn't shopped with me for quite awhile.
May you all have a lovely Christmas

What they say is that there is a chemical in cherries which may help
in the treatment of diabetes. There is also sugar in cherries, which
at least in my case, has exactly the expected consequence on my blood
glucose levels. The magic ingredient doesn't cancel the sugar.

And according to the article, cherries act as a sort of beta stimulator,
which is not necessarily a good thing.

For in my opinion there never was a good war, or a bad peace. What vast
additions to the conveniences and comforts of living might mankind have
acquired if the money spent in wars had been employed in works of public
utility!
