The link works just fine for me. Sometime intermittent problems
occur with sites. You might find it working if you try again. If not
the guts of the article are that pancreatic cancer is strongly linked
to smoking. There is also a WEAK link to T2 diabetes or at least to a
combination of high insulin and high glucose.
Moral of the story.
Reduce insulin resistance via exercise and keep to a diet and/or
medication that keeps good control of blood glucose.

Exercise is not enough when there is significant visceral adiposity.
Weight loss in overweight type 2 diabetics can not be overemphasized.
