Watched the news tonight and they had a feature on a
homeless man. It points out two thngs. But for providence that peersn
might be you. Life is
a throw od the dice and in a momrnt you will
lose all you value.
This fellow was out in the cold when all he had
was lost in a fire.
I realize how lucky I am to nort be in his situation.
Dioabetes is not the worst thing that can happen
to you.
Now we hear a lot abourt Christians heree. owq
near Xmas it is time to show your sincerety.
Find someone that has real needs that are
causaed by misfortune and help them
out,
I particularly think of the very young and
the very old.
Who will profit the most-------------YOU
Guy
Bob and Chung, I would like to hear what you do.
And many others.
NO show, just help someone around you
and kids in hospitals. Make it a good
time for any terminal person.

Real Christians help out all year long, not just at Christmas. Same goes
for those once or twice a year church going Christians that take all the
seats in the church at Easter and Christmas so the regulars are forced
to stand. ;-) Church is held year round.

Guy - I'm lucky in that I work in a homeless clinic, so I get reminded
daily that there are many worse things than diabetes. I don't think it
matters what religion one is, all the religions emphasize being kind to
others. As a Jew, I feel compelled to help the less fortunate. I was
also lucky to live in a Muslim country (Mauritania) for 2 years w the
Peace Corps. I learned there the extent of daily practising charity in
Islam. I get wonderful feelings from sharing what I have with others
who have less. My favorite part of this time of the year is that it's
when our clinic gets it's most donations, which we give to our clients.
It's SO WONDERFUL to share the community's concern with the folks we
serve.
Thanks for your reminder to spread kindness.
