Newbies and some others have been looking for
one simple answer.  There "AIN'T NONE".

It does take some effort to sort out "you", your case,
and what we do know about this problem.

Unlike the time when I started, there is a lot of
information available.  Search  on diabetes
and read for a week. (for years)

Do not grab and hang nto any one idea if
other info shows it is short.

YOu are the one that will pay the final
bill--not some one else selling their ideas
as gospel.  Listen and compare.

You're right, Guy. Diabetes is a very complex disease and there is so
much information out there about it.  Unfortunately, much of it is
contradictory so we need to focus on our own needs.  That's why I use
all sources at my disposal - endo, GP, foot doctor, eye doctor,
dietician, the Internet, this newsgroup, and personal friends of mine
who have diabetes.  The more you know, the more you can make some sort
of attempt at throwing a lasso around this beast within.
