I just had about fifteen teeth removed. blood pressure raise and was a
question as to anathesia(?) to finish so Doc sheduled for tomorrow.
My Question: Can this be the reason my blood sugar is at 236 , 80 or 90
points Higher than it should be. Am taking Antibiotics and a pain pill also
Thanks

It surely can. I spike whenever I have a major "body event" like that.

actually it's about 106 points higher than it should be at the most.
but yea, that kind of dental work can cause your BG to through the
roof for a while.

Big shock for the body so yes, it will go up significantly whatever you
do. Don't worry about it too much since there is little you can do
about it. It will be a relatively short term effect and will calm down
again.

Yes indeed. Surgery = high bG and that kind of dental surgery
qualifies.
Another way to look at it:
I am T1 so I know exactly how much insulin I need to handle life's
challenges.
Surgery more than doubles my daily insulin need.
It should have a similar effect on you but you don't have a vial of insulin
available to "double" your supply. You have to rely on your
diabetes-impaired betas.
Stress in general will increase your need for insulin. I had some major
blood loss from a bleeding ulcer this Spring and needed double-insulin for
weeks until I rebuilt my hemoglobin level. No pain, no drugs, not even
much fatigue, but double insulin anyway.

Yes, although I suspect it also has a lot to do with what
you are eating while you can't chew properly. Are you T1 or
T2?
In any case - commiserations. Get well soon.

it has very little to do with what you eat.
