My back is still a bit sore from the fall. The doctor won't give me any more
happy pills, because at 8 times more powerful than morphine, they are very
very addictive. Of course, i am not addicted.! I just want my happy pills!
Please, nice lady doctor, give me some more happy pills :-))
Apart from that, i got an appt with the liver man at the end of Feb. I can't
spell heppytololologist, but i am sure you get my drift.
The hypotension is back with a vengeance, but the hypos have totally gone.
Yeess!!! [at least, 'yes' about the hypos; as i have said, i hate them
vigorously]
The plateau i got on my weight gain has also stopped, i have just reached up
to 126 pounds. Another 18 will do me just fine.
The DP is creeping up about 1.5 mmol [27mg/dll] so i need to correct that,
and then i can work on my mealtime bolus, and less need for corrective
bolus.
TY for asking. Now about your hot knees, any sign of improvement yet? IIRC,
your trigger finger is better than it was?

Do, or do not. There is no try.

All in all, that sounds like decent news. Glad your back is better than
it was.

LOL.. I know the feeling... my problem is I don't take um everyday like I
should
and how the doctor would like them built up in my system.. So, i'm usually
at
a screaming point and mike or danni will throw the bottle at me. -- can you
ask
her for something a bit milder? At least it will keep the edge off. That's
what
drives me the most nutty.

Yep, yep, got the drift... good deal! Gotta care for that liver.

ug! well that's not good at all about the BP, but wonderful about the hypos
whoohoo!!! progress... it's a step in the right direction. -- now to get
the BP
cared for... I'm going to assume, you've just about cut all salt out of your
diet
right?
| The plateau i got on my weight gain has also stopped, i have just reached up
| to 126 pounds. Another 18 will do me just fine.
well damn! but look how much you've gained! that's simply wonderful... 126
is still a bit too skinny for ya.... perhaps add a bit more starches and
just bolus
a bit more? that's the crappy thing we're stuck between a rock and hard
place
sometimes. --- On a side note... just got back from the docs for danni...
she had
the flu last week, and nicely ended up with a UTI so the doc has her on
antibotics
for 3 days.. those damn pills were $13 each! Anyhoo... she's lost 10lbs
since going
on glucophage 3 weeks ago and I lost another 4lbs... I certainly don't know
what
I'm doing lol winter is coming.. damn i need my blubber for warmth <g> was
72F here yesterday.. 50F today and expecting 28F tomorrow... stupid weather!
and
snow again by thursday. But overall danni was happy as a lark!

Yep... just remember all takes time. Took me a good 6-8months to get a
majority
of it all figured out... Now i'm working on my "Mild Pain days" and "Bad
Pain days"
basal profiles.. lol notice theres no "No Pain days" -- I've just been
running one profile
still, and doing corrections or eating more or less when needed depending
upon what
my bg is at that time.
| TY for asking. Now about your hot knees, any sign of improvement yet? IIRC,
| your trigger finger is better than it was?
Well you're very welcomed.. I do care or I'd not bother to ask. My hot
knees.. hmm nope
no signs of improvement yet that I can tell.. last night both knee caps were
so hot I had
to take off my sweats and put on shorts... they were both really red
oo. -- That's definately
on my list to the Rheum when I go. As far as them aching so much, that i've
seen a bit of
improvement with... that and the stiffness except when they're hot and red..
then it's hell
trying to get up... once i'm up, i'm good, just stiff and achy.. but thx for
asking..
I'm just taking it all in stride...
LOL heres a good laugh for you.. "someone" commented with a fib stating I'd
had 2 back
surgerys is why I'm in such pain lol... I told danni and she looked at me
funny.. I said,
"damn where was I during that second surgery I had..." -- lol she said,
probably out shopping.

I would rather go the non-drug route where possible, so tomorrow i will go
to the acupuncturist in town -- always provided there is no more snow. Two
days already, and for my taste that is enough for a decade, not two days in
a row -- and the night-time between as well.

Yep, right, but i am not sure if it is the right thing to do. Salt puts BP
up, i think, where mine needs to go. I shall have to consult Wikipedia
first, then i shall know what to ask that nice lady doctor.

Were they not covered by insurance? At least part of the cost?

10lbs? Good for her, and please tell her my congratulations.

Shopping therapy? I heard about that before. I might give it a go, i could
do with a larger capacity hard-drive, and a faster CPU, and then there is
socks, underwear, shirts --erk! too much, i need some overtime. LOL

Maybe we should get Fester (or is it Beav?) to send you some
....er.....herbs for medicinal purposes.
