I didn't know that BellSouth had abolished the Free Expression clause of the First Amendment. God Bless you in your lawsuit. Let me know if you need help.

It remains my hope that the matter will be settled before going to trial. No matter what happens, it will be according to God's greater plan realized through my choice to obey Him. May He receive all the glory for all the power and authority comes from Him, in Lord Jesus' most precious and holy name.
While chatting about diabetes tomorrow in Paradise, we certainly can chat a little bit about BellSouth :-)
In Christ's love always,

Stick to cardiology. At least you know a few things.
Alan Hardy - 26 Oct 2005 22:55 GMT > nospam6 wrote: >> Hi Richard, [quoted text clipped - 16 lines] > the main arena? Stick to cardiology. At least you know a few > things. I note the words "a few", which is accurate. He got the info about hypotension wrong -- and I have my cardio's word on that. If Chung knew what he was doing, he would be too busy running his own practice or working in a hospital to spend so much time on Usenet.

For a Doctor, Andrew, you don't seem to know a lot about medical terminology. An epidemic, used as a noun as you have just done, is a widespread outbreak of an *infectious* disease. When did diabetes become infectious? Was it last night while I wasn't looking?
Andrew, if you learned about diabetes in Med school, then I would expect you to know the difference between an increase in the occurrence of a disease and an epidemic. Of course if your knowledge was garnered purely from media sources then I can understand your confusion.
The

But what about those cardios, like you, who spend their lives pissing people off, supposedly in God's name? Do you really think that God would be pleased by a wannabe Christian who causes his name to be permanently associated with harassment and irritation? If so, then you must have a lower opinion of God's intelligence than I do.

A physician's effectiveness in communicating with patients is enhanced when s/he is aware of the language that his/her patients are using. This comes from seeing patients in practice **after** medical school.

RB - 27 Oct 2005 03:35 GMT BellSouth did not abolish anything. The issue was News Group violations for being off topic. Their AUP is clear on that matter. If Chung wants to discuss religion then he should go to the appropriate forum. ASD isn't it!
By the way Chung why multiple names? Trying to hide something?

In the end, we need to trust the reader to decide which ideas are worthy and not assume he is incapable of good judgment and impose the will of a communication Czar on him.
RB - 28 Oct 2005 02:16 GMT >> BellSouth did not abolish anything. The issue was News Group >> violations for being off topic. Their AUP is clear on that matter. [quoted text clipped - 12 lines] >and not assume he is incapable of good judgment and impose the will of a > communication Czar on him. My exposure to Usenet is a dozen or less groups. I could hardly affirm or denie your statement. My gut feeling is that you are wrong.
However I know this; If I went into my local Multiplex and starting witnessing for Christ then it would only be a few minutes before I was shown the door. Why? People paid money to see a movie without distractions and in relative quiet and comfort. My actions in this case would impact on their expectations.
Usenet has rules also. Group charters setup the ground rules and discuss acceptable behavior in the group. Moderated groups even more so. Most of us have to pay for Newsgroup access. I know I do, and I have an expectation that the group rules will be honored.
When someone repeatably violates the rules then that poster should expect complaints to follow.
A quick scan of my groups list showed any number of groups that Chung would find more acceptable to his needs.
Should he want to post here about diabetes and observe the group rules he will not be challenge. The ball is in his court.

There was plenty of open witnessing to others about Christ after the Passion of Christ was viewed at local Multiplexes around here.

Actually, you would be hard pressed to find me starting **any** off-topic threads in **any** USENET newsgroup. Some folks believe that if they mark the thread OT, that they are exempt for the very rules that they use to judge other. This would analogous to saying that having a license plate that reads "Too Fast" is a license to speed.

Sheesh another idiot
Look Entico twit - the "free expression clause " as you call it does not apply to Bell South, it applies to CONGRESS AND, it still wouldn't protect trolls like Chung
Try READING the Bill of Rights, but, I suppose you can't read.
Uncle Enrico - 28 Oct 2005 05:34 GMT Public Utilities are regulated by the government through the Interstate Commerce Clause. A public utility, licensed by the state, and discriminating against a particular type of religious expression is analogous to a lunch counter in Mississippi refusing to serve African Americans in 1952. The court applies "Strict Scrutiny" when race, creed, and national origin is used by commercial enterprises to discriminate, you wretched little man with the dirty mouth. Now, go wash that ugly pie hole of yours with soap, water and a huge dose of Listerine and learn to be a human, if in fact that is what you are.

Chung's offensive, Usenet rulebreaking cross-posting has nothing to religion and everything to do with not following the same rules of use that everyone else does.
To follow your analogy to its accurate conclusion, that lunch counter in Mississippi would be refusing to serve Chung because he entered the diner barefoot despite the "shoes must be worn" sign, then he would scream racial discrimination.

As the lunch counter proprietor, you may certainly claim untruthfully that your reason for not serving a black person is because of his/her being barefoot. Those who are able to discern the truth, will know the truth about seeing the shoes on this black person's feet.
