For several years the One Touch was the best meter around.

I have examined other new meters and have noted some seem
superior in some aspects.

The thing I did not like about the one touch was the
poor quality of the physical strip. Some new ones are superior in that
aspect.

The Micro fil strips are superior in picking up the blood.

Others are try to compete by upgrading some item
so look around.  Many still get free meters for a trial.

All meters are crap until I think back to when we did
not have them.   I find most meters perform
well unless we expect a miracle from them.

The thing they measure is not exactly a
set in stone value.

Have you tried the Ascensia with the
Micro fil strips?.

Despite the defenders, there is some form
of price fixing --in my opinion.  But that
can be said for most medical. items.
