just wanted to say thank you for the advice, my doctor put my mom on the
levemir at night and nova rapid at lunch so it is just two shots a day. she
didn't like the idea of taking shots at work but she can do it in the
washroom at lunch time because it has the pen. she works in packing so it's
hard to leave for breaks.
she got 3 months of needles and strips and a new meter (ultra smart) and
lances. they did an hbc test and it showed 8.5 which the doctor said is not
good but he will check again in 3 months.
he told her she sill has to really watch her weight but it shouldn't go up
because of the insulin, if she is using levermir and he got her to stop two
of her tablets so that helps, she has so many tablets.
it has only been two weeks but she says she is already feeling better than
when she was just on tablets so i wanted to say thankyou for the help.
