The other major U.S. heparin supplier, APP Pharmaceuticals Inc, has
ramped up production to avoid a drug shortage. Tests on APP's heparin
have not found any contamination, Woodcock said on Wednesday.

Yes, I have a patient who had the contaminated heparin in a famous
boston hospital last fall and who has had multiple strokes from it.
At first, before they found out, they claimed she must be allergic to
heparin.
