... too bad so many patients are without insurance and cannot afford to
pay.
New York Times article about the poor state of dental health in Kentucky.

As a Kentuckian, I would like to say that not all of the stereotypes are
true. We do wear shoes. Apparently, it is so our teeth won't get stuck
between out toes when they fall out. =-)

My wife is from Cincinnatti. She's told me all about you folk. ;-)

Judging from what I see in the rural midwest, it isn't a problem
that is limited to one particular state.
We went through Louisville out to Lexington a few summers ago for
one of Ryan's baseball tournaments. There was also a vintage
hot rod/car show going on that week somewhere in Kentucky, and
that sure made the interstate traffic even more interesting.
Beautiful state.

Cincinnati? We Kentuckians call Cincinnati "Springerville". :-) Of
course, sometimes I wonder which is worse; having Jerry Springer as your
former mayor, or living in a state that supplies so many participants for
his inexplicably popular lowbrow show.

Yeah, they got Springer, you got the Clooneys...doesn't seem fair.
Merry Christmas!
