My two lower incisors are slightly overlapped by the tooth next to
them. The incisors are slightly forward and lean slightly toward the
center of my mouth. As time goes on after my cleaning at the
dentist, I quickly get a plaque build up on the back of those teeth,
even with normal brushing and flossing. If I get lazy and am late
brushing, even once, it comes on pretty quick. (That is, if I brush
before going to bed but don't the next morning cause I'm rushed, and
that happens several days in a row)
So I'm looking for advice on how to prevent this or clean the back of
those teeth.
I didn't ask my dentist because I keep forgetting about it.

Crowded lower teeth can be a pain in the butt to try to keep clean.
Try your best to brush in an up and down motion to clean the backs of
the teeth. Hold the brush pointed down and inwards slightly while
doing so. If the crowding is so tight that it's hard to fit the brush
head where you want it to go, try buying one of the end tufted brushes
and use that.
It's vital to floss your teeth, and that will help tremendously in
keeping the tartar from accumulating. Some people are just more prone
to developing lower lingual tartar, but getting the plaque off daily
does help. Plaque is the soft film that bacteria produce, and it
forms constantly within a 24 hour period so it's important not to miss
brushing or flossing.
