Not sure what they are called but the part of the implant that integrates with the bone broke and now I have small pieces of them left in the bone that need to be removed to place new implants. They were about 12 years old, and I guess they just broke from stress being in the back bottom molars area. Is having them drilled them out my only option? The holes will be filled with bone grafts.
