Not sure what they are called but the part of the implant that
integrates with the bone broke and now I have small pieces of them
left in the bone that need to be removed to place new implants. They
were about 12 years old, and I guess they just broke from stress being
in the back bottom molars area. Is having them drilled them out my
only option? The holes will be filled with bone grafts. Thanks!

If they are broken taking them out with a trephine is pretty much the
only option I think. You really can't repair them.

What kind of implant this was?
