Rather short article but may be of some minimal interest.

Sounds like the author did not know to take into consideration the
aggressive interproximal wear of teeth in a hunter-gatherer society.  The
subsequent mesial shift of the teeth makes enough room for the third molar
to easily "pop" into place.
