My temporary crown has been in place for
months while the permanent porcelain-on-
gold crown was prepared for the post in
tooth 20.  Now that the dental school where
the work is being done is on summer break,
at least the student, graduated?, and the
clinical professor are unresponding, should
I be worried that the bicuspid will not be
permanently covered until the school clinic
resumes in the fall?

We aren't 'on duty' here at smd.  Some posts lay around a little
while before anyone replies.

When I was in dental school, the clinic had summer staffing and
patients weren't left dangling with unfinished work.

Can't say what's going on with your situation with that university.

I'd call the main clinic number to see if there are any messages
about summer hours and maybe even a way to talk to a live person.

Best wishes,
D
